1 February 2022, World’s First Heli Gin Tour

If you haven’t yet heard the buzz around town, then this is exciting news! 

Queenstown is officially the host for the first Gin Tour in New Zealand! Featuring Broken Heart Gin Garden, we cannot contain how extremely excited we are to be a part of it.

The epic team at Altitude Tours have curated New Zealand’s very first gin tour and the World’s first Heli gin tour. The epic experience includes gin tastings at 3 uniquely different locations from Cardrona to Arrowtown and ending with a visit to us at Broken Heart Gin Garden for an unforgettable gin tasting. This half-day tour departs from Queenstown, with accommodation pick up in one of Altitude Tour’s luxury Mercedes vehicles; head up the Crown Range road, taking in amazing views to Cardrona for a Distillery tour; back down to the history-rich Arrowtown for the second tasting and shared grazing boards; making your way back to Queenstown the third stop is at Arthurs Point with us at the Gin Garden for more gin tastings and our famous German Tarte Flambée to share.

You will be hosted in our private tasting room, with great info about our unique history, meaning behind our name and of course, tasting the Broken Heart Gin. A visit to the Gin Garden is made even better with our staff favourite the ‘Queenstown Edition’ Gin, this is exclusively available for tasting and purchase from the Gin Garden (not available online) and the perfect souvenir to take home after you’ve experienced this great day out. It’s not over yet, your day is not complete without a cocktail to top off the whole experience, try the classic gin & tonic or class it up with one of our many cocktails from our extensive cocktail menu. Of course, we always show pride in our product and can’t wait for people from all around New Zealand and eventually the world to taste the passion and flavours of Joerg’s (our founder) gin.
