Statement from Joerg Henkenhaf, Owner and Master Distiller of Broken Heart Spirits regarding the Giesen Group distribution changes:

Life is full of changes every day and when I started Broken Heart in 2012 I did not see where we will be one day. Therefore, it is time to simplify a few things today.

Jeannine with Invisible Wines has been my distributor in the North Island and Shannon with Long Cloud Wines & Spirits in the South Island. Shannon has had a change of direction this year which involves a national distribution partnership with the Giesen Group and the Long Cloud imported spirit brands. It has become logical to also move all distribution of Broken Heart to the Giesen Group.

Consequently, this means that Invisible Wines will no longer distribute Broken Heart. Jeannine with Invisible Wines has been a huge part of the success of Broken Heart and I will always be thankful for that. Jeannine and I became friends through this business relation and will stay friends.

Broken Heart will be represented alongside Giesen Wines, Peter Lehmann Wines, Konrad Wines, Kaiser Bros Beer as well as the imported UK spirits from Warner’s Distillery, Lind & Lime Gin, Rock Rose Gin and Chase Distillery.

Shannon knows the brand and is passionate about continuing our successful journey in the trade and managing a seamless transition. I am looking forward to this exciting adventure and continuing the Broken Heart story.

To all our suppliers, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support of the Broken Heart range, without you we would not be where we are today. Of course we will be there for you for any of your questions.

The Giesen Sales Team will be distributing the Broken Heart range from 1 May 2021.
