27 May 2021, GOLD at NZ Spirit Awards 2021

Here at Broken Heart Spirits we are super happy to announce the results of the NZ Spirit Awards 2021.

Announced on 26 May the newly released Broken Heart Queenstown Edition Gin won a Gold Award. Out of a record breaking 145 Gin entries only 10 were awarded Gold.

We also took home a Silver Award for our Original Gin, Angel’s Share #3 and Rhubarb Gin with a Bronze Award going to our Vodka and Angel’s Share #2.

Each entry was blind tasted and assessed by a very talented pool of judges.

Joerg will be attending the Awards Ceremony being held on 25 June where further prizes will be announced for Best Overall in Category and Best New Zealand in Category.

In their third year now the NZ Spirit Awards aim to acknowledge and reward the very best in local and international spirits commercially available in New Zealand – a true celebration of spirits in New Zealand.

Once again we are thrilled with these results and congratulate other medal recipients in this hotly contested competition. It is a true reflection of the talent here in the New Zealand spirits industry.
