Broken Heart Spirits are not only great to drink straight, with ice or your choice of mixer, but they also work brilliantly in a range of delicious cocktails. Broken Heart Spirits Original Gin

Pure Love 
45ml Original Gin 
30ml orange juice
30ml lemon juice 
30ml sage syrup 
Top with Brut  

Shake first 4 ingredients. 
Double strain into a coupe. 
Top with bubbles. 
Garnish with an orange twist or a crystalised sage leaf. 

Broken Heart Spirits Navy Strength Gin

Red Snapper 
45ml Navy Strength 
30ml lemon juice, 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce and 4 dashes hot sauce 
Tomato juice 
Garnish with juniper berry & black peppercorn sprinkle, green olives, and rosemary 

Stir down spirit, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce and half a glass of tomato juice. 
Add ice then garnish.

Broken Heart Spirits Queenstown Edition Gin

Queenstown in Bloom
45ml Queenstown Edition Gin 
10ml elderflower vermouth  
20ml rosewater syrup 
90ml grapefruit juice 
Soda water 

Pour first 4 ingredients into a tumbler.
Mix together, then top with ice and soda.
Garnish with thyme sprig and fresh flowers.

Broken Heart Spirits Vodka

Vesper Martini 

45ml Vodka 
15ml Original Gin 
10ml Vermouth Blanc 
Lemon twist to garnish 

Stir down over ice to dilute. 
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish.

Broken Heart Spirits Spiced Rum

Dark & Stormy 

45ml Spiced Rum 
15ml lime juice 
Ginger beer 
Garnish with rosemary stalk 

Mix ingredients in a Collins glass. 
Top up with ice, ginger beer and add garnish.

Broken Heart Spirits Rhubarb Gin

Rhubarb Gimlet 

60ml Rhubarb Gin 
30ml lime juice 
30ml sugar syrup

Shake all ingredients hard with ice. 
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. 
Garnish with dehydrated lemon.

Broken Heart Spirits Pinot Noir Gin

Negroni Noir 

30ml Pinot Noir Gin 
30ml Vermouth Rouge
20ml Campari 
150ml tonic water 

Stir down ingredients over ice in a wine glass. 
Garnish with an orange slice.

Broken Heart Spirits Quince Gin

The Quincident 

45ml Quince Gin 
30ml lemon juice 
15ml jasmine syrup 
60ml pineapple juice 
Mediterranean tonic 
Drizzle of Bella -Wild Plum Elixir

Add first 4 ingredients to a Collins glass. 
Top up with ice and tonic. 
Top with drizzle of Bella and

Broken Heart Spirits Barrel Aged Gin

Barrel Old Fashioned

45ml Barrel Aged 
1 bar spoon of raw sugar
2 dashes of orange bitters 
Orange wheel and rosemary garnish 

Stir down ingredients over ice.
Strain over a big ice cube in a tumbler.  
Garnish with rosemary sprig and/or rosemary.

Autumn Sparkler 

30ml Quince Liqueur 
45ml apple juice 
20ml lemon juice 
90ml Prosecco / to top up 
Garnish with a cinnamon stick 

Pour over ice into a wine glass. 
Garnish with a half cinnamon rim or cinnamon stick and pear or quince slice.

Broken Heart Spirits Spiced Whisky

Irish Coffee

45ml Whisky 
30ml espresso 
Hot water
Cream to top 

In an Irish coffee mug add first 3 ingredients. 
Shake cream to top. 
Garnish with 3 coffee beans.

Broken Heart Spirits 0% Alcohol Botanical Spirit

Apple Sparkler 

45ml 0% Botanical Spirit 
20ml sage syrup 
90ml apple juice 
Tonic water 

Pour over ice into a wine glass. 
Top with tonic water. 
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a fresh flower. 

Mulled Bella

Peels from 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 lime
100g caster sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Bella
3 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 bay leaves
Nutmeg, 1 star anise
1/2 tsp vanilla
750ml Red Wine
250ml Bella

Peel the fruits
Add sugar to large saucepan over medium heat
Add all fruit peels and 1/4 cup of orange juice
Add cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaves and 10 gratings of nutmeg to the pan with vanilla
Stir in just enough Bella to cover the sugar
Simmer until sugar completely dissolves, then bring to the boil for 4-5 mins to create a syrup
Turn heat to low and add the bottle of wine, 250ml of Bella and star anise
Let simmer for 5 mins before serving

This recipe serves approx 6 drinks based on a 150ml pour. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or dehydrated orange slice and enjoy!
